Welcome to the Long Neck Methodist Church!

We are a traditional Methodist Church in the Wesleyan Tradition, following the teachings of the Bible and the theology of John Wesley.  We work to bring the Bible alive as we apply God’s Word to today’s world. 

 

We have a variety of service options available.  On Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m. we have a Contemporary Service (with Praise Band and more modern music) and at 11:00 a.m., we offer a Traditional Service (using the hymns of our faith).  We also have a Mid-Week service, presently on the first and third Wednesday’s of each month, where we offer a more relaxed worship experience, with a brief message, music and fellowship.

 

We are an active church, opening the campus to the community and those around us.  We take the command to feed, clothe, shelter and support our Brothers and Sisters in Christ seriously.  Our outreach ministries include working with Food Bank  - Delaware, the Blood Bank, Community Love Fund and direct support for community needs.  We are active with the Christian Storehouse, which offers clothing and housewares to those in need at reduced prices.   

 

Christian Education is important to our Church, through our Sunday and Wednesday Worship services, a very active Sunday School Program, an energetic Youth Group, small group studies, Bible and Book Studies, Men’s Groups, Women’s Groups and the like. 

 

We also support the recovery community with a variety of meetings throughout the week.  We now offer our services on the Church’s YouTube and social media platforms and our Facebook Discussion Group.
